One of the things I look forward to in the fall are pumpkin spice lattes and cappuccino from the coffee shops. But they can get expensive if you buy them as often as I do. So I have found a way to satisfy my craving for this fall favorite. You don't need a fancy espresso maker or a frothing machine just a blender.
2 cups hole milk ( vitamin D)
3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. pumpkin spice
4 tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup extra strong coffee
First place the milk, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and sugar in the blender and turn on high until the milk is all foamy and thick then add the coffee, blend once more to stir, and pour into your favorite mug and place in the microwave till hot. Drink and enjoy. This makes 2 mugs of coffee.
If you want, you can leave out 2 tbsp. of sugar and place in some caramel syrup and you have a pumpkin spice caramel macchiato.
